HOW WE LEARN

Our children love learning because they have control of their own learning experiences. We convey trust to our children by giving them a voice and direct input into their learning choices. We provide a variety of options for all types of interests and encourage them to discover their preferred learning styles. Our children are challenged in areas and subjects that fascinate them, making learning fun since they are intrinsically motivated and engaged in their own learning.

WE LEARN BY

FOLLOWING JESUS

For God called you to do good ... Christ is your example and you must follow in His steps.

1 Peter 2:21

Looking to Jesus as our teacher, role model, and standard, and being led and filled by His Spirit, our children learn through reflections and conversations regarding social, moral, ethical, and spiritual topics, while developing active listening skills, respect for differing opinions, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and faith formation.

Building a Robot

WE LEARN BY

CREATING

The Lord has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work -- all of them skilled workers and designers.

Exodus 35:35

Our children are immersed in interest-based projects. They conduct research, explore, and create their independent or collaborative projects, according to their learning styles. Our children share with their families and the community all they have learned through designing, building, and creating.

Children in the Garden

WE LEARN BY

SERVING

Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people.

Ephesian 6:7

Given opportunities to develop Christ-like character through apprenticeships, mentorships, our children play servant leadership roles in the classroom and the community. They serve in local organizations through service projects, volunteer opportunities, and community outreach.

BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW

We believe God's Word teaches us the best way to live because He loves us desperately & wants what is best for us. He knows His commands are the path of life and blessing, so He asks us to follow them. We choose to always champion the Biblical way because it’s the best way.

OUR DAILY SCHEDULE

Our families have the freedom to choose the schedule that works best for them. We offer homeschool hybrid options that best fits each family's schedule. Some families join us from Monday to Friday, others might come every other day, or maybe just half days.

Families may join us for academic support in the morning or projects and field trips in the afternoon.

Our goal is to fully support each of our families and meet their unique and specific needs.

The daily schedule helps our children achieve their goals. Following a routine enables them to efficiently complete tasks while using their time wisely. When they do things regularly, they become more proficient and master skills they perform repeatedly. But when our children are in the flow, a state of complete immersion in an activity, they have the freedom to continue in engaging in their task without any disruption or the necessity to stop as dictated by the schedule. In the same way, if they reach their goals and would like to move on to the next activity ahead of schedule, or if they need a brain break, they are free to do so. They are in control of their schedule, so they learn to keep track of their time, prioritize, and decide what they would like to achieve in their lives.
